The Story Behind the Expo
Metal Relixx Expo was born from the minds of Harald Oimoen and Tambre Bryant—better known together as Millie & Billie Productions—two lifelong metalheads dedicated to preserving and celebrating heavy metal history and culture.
What started as an idea between friends quickly evolved into a full-throttle annual Metal Memorabilia Expo—a gathering place for fans, collectors, and legends alike. The event features everything a true metal fan could ask for: an epic swap meet packed with rare vinyl, shirts, posters, instruments, and artifacts; live entertainment throughout the day; panels and discussions with musicians and industry icons; meet & greets with metal legends; an online auction of exclusive collectibles; and even a Metal Kids’ Zone to inspire the next generation of headbangers.

Metal Relixx Expo is taking over Faction Brewing at 2501 Monarch St, Alameda, CA 94501, bringing the full force of heavy metal culture to one of the Bay Area’s most dynamic waterfront venues. With sweeping views of the San Francisco skyline, an expansive industrial layout, and a high-energy taproom atmosphere, Faction Brewing provides the perfect backdrop for a day dedicated to collectors, musicians, and die-hard fans. Its open-air setting, spacious event areas, and unmistakable Bay Area edge create an immersive environment where the metal community can gather, connect, and celebrate the culture at full volume.
Metal Relixx Expo is happening at Faction Brewing, located at 2501 Monarch St, Alameda, CA 94501. Set along the waterfront at Alameda Point, the venue is easily accessible from throughout the Bay Area and offers convenient parking on site. Attendees traveling by ferry can take advantage of nearby service from the Alameda Seaplane Lagoon Ferry Terminal, which connects to downtown San Francisco with scenic views across the bay. The Metal Relixx team was created by Harald Oimoen and Tambre Bryant of Millie & Billie Productions, joined by Huge McKenzie of RCTV, Greg and Steph Day, and Ken Knecht—and the team is still growing.
